One of the most exciting times, strangely enough, is the night before we leave. Everything is packed and organized in the van, the house is clean and vacuumed (who likes to come home to a dirty house?), pet-care instructions are printed, and everything in the fridge but condiments has been eaten. But the exciting part is the anticipation... looking forward to the trip and knowing that great things are possible.
Even though this is a short trip by Belove standards, we are just as excited as if we were headed across country again. We are looking forward to our family time together, as well as the continuation of the adventure.
By dawn we should be gone!
